Advance Polls today, tommorrow and Monday

If you have already made up your mind which candidate you are voting for you can beat the rush and vote this weekend.

While I’m sure The Pope isn’t happy about it, Elections Canada says that the rules were set long before the election was called last month. By law, advance voting takes place the 10th, ninth and seventh days before election day, which is May 2 this time.

We can’t find a comprehensive list of exactly where the advance polls are , but you can check your voter card for the location of their advance poll. Advance polls will be open from noon to 8 p.m. over those three days.

If you did not receive a voter card, call (toll-free) the Elections Canada returning office

As I will be out of the country on election day, I will be voting in an advance poll. Even if I was already gone i could have voted at an elections Canada Office. If I lived overseas I could mail in my ballot. If I was incapacitated, Elections Canada would bring a ballot to me. I cannot believe how easy it is to vote if people really want to. Anyway, I just wanted to point out somehting very positive about our political system.

Deron, or anyone, see if you can find a list of locations for advance polls in Cambridge online. Several people have tried with no luck.
you’d think it would be easy to find.

It doesn’t give a list, Mike. I just want a simple list to post.
