Musicians and music lovers alike crowded the Beaver and Bulldog on Sunday, Nov. 16,as Cambridge Live Music hosted their sixth live music meetup.
The meetup, titled the Magnificent Music Matinee edition, ran from 1 to 4pm. It featured17 different performers from the area, door prizes donated by more than 20 and an openappetizer buffet provided by the Beaver and Bulldog.
According to Cambridge Live Music’s founder Ted Ferris, the matinee edition was theorganization’s most successful event to date, as more than 100 locals made appearance and took part in the meetup. The meetup also raised around $500 towards the organization’s many goals.
Ferris was incredibly grateful for the support of everybody that was involved in the event.
“We are ecstatic with the results of Sunday’s Magnificent Music Matinee. It was our largest and most successful event in the 8 months since we founded our not-for-profit community organization. Thank you to Beaver & Bulldog for inviting us and donating a fantastic free appetizer buffet. Thank you to our amazing team of volunteers. Thank you to the 17 incredibly talented acts that truly defined ‘plug and play’. Most of all thank you to the almost 100
attendees that joined us in celebrating Cambridge’s vibrant live music community,” he said.
