On Monday, Waterloo Regional Police reported that Pamela Wolf, 62, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and driving a motor vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol in her blood, following a two-vehicle crash in Cambridge Friday night.
Wolf released a brief statement on Monday night but declined to speak further on the matter.
Police said the crash occurred at about 9:40 p.m. Friday at Fountain Street North and Victoria Street North in Breslau.
Wolf’s vehicle was seized for seven days and her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
Wolf helped spread the message “Don’t Drink and Drive” in a 2010 Thanksgiving advertisement spread in theCambridge Times. “Let’s understand that one bad decision can affect so many lives in a devastating way,” the ad read.
She is scheduled to appear in a Kitchener court on Nov. 30.
