…. and Cambridge taxpayers saved a bundle on these projects!
I only wish this had been posted by an individual taxpayer, not on City Council; so as not to seem partisan. But that aside, we rail at our public officials when we perceive they have done something wrong or something we don’t agree with, so let’s congradulate them when they have scored a success on our behalf! Job well done, Doug, Ben, Rick, Pam, Linda, Karl and Gary!

Lary, it was sent as part of a press release to the local media, Ben just wanted to be sure we saw it.

It’s a damn if they do damned if they don’t. Sometimes we expect way too much out of people because we simply do not understand the inner workings of a city and that is why these people are elected for better or for worse i guess.

The public sector likes to spend money to build the most lavish structures in our society, since they are the ones who have exclusivity in it’s use.

Look at any public buildings around the Region of Waterloo, the city halls, the operations centers, I’m not far from the truth.

With that in mind, I’m not sure how pertinent it is when they praise themselves, as they do in this report.
