Deb Matthews, the Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care popped into Cambridge today to announce that Cambridge Memorial will get an MRI machine which should be in operation in 12 – 15 months.
This is good news for Cambridge.
However, I don’t trust the Fiberals. They have made promises before regarding Cambridge Hospital which they haven’t lived up to.
I suspect that the up-coming election may have something to do with it. Anyone else feel likewise?
Anyhow Deb, keep the money coming. Cambridge Memorial needs much more money. And, Cambridge needs millions of dollars to replace our leaky water pipes which our local governments don’t have enough because they are spending their money on priority projects such as a school of architecture and a theatre. So, Deb, please talk to some of the others in Dalton’s cabinet. See if they can buy our votes with lots of cash. Kathryn McGarry needs a lot of help to get elected in Cambridge.
